Each year, high-school students in the Berkeley Foundation for Opportunities in Information Technology (BFOIT) enrichment program participate in internships at ICSI and UC Berkeley. Last August, interns Alexis Conway and Isha Doshi worked with the Teaching Privacy team to create an educational video aimed at their age group. Now it’s ready for its long-awaited release:

Based in part on content from the teachingprivacy.icsi.berkeley.edu website, the video explains some of the major privacy issues Isha and Alexis identified as being most important for their peer group and yet not commonly known about, and gives some how-to’s for how people can better protect themselves given those issues.
